What are the characteristics of cvc flame retardant fabrics?
Apr 29, 2013

Flame retardant fabrics can be divided into fabrics of different compositions. The fire-retardant fabrics produced by Xinxiang Yulong Textile Co., Ltd. are commonly made of cotton flame-retardant fabrics, CVC flame-retardant fabrics, cotton-like flame-retardant fabrics, aramid flame-retardant fabrics, and denatured acrylic cotton flame-retardant fabrics. More than a flame retardant fabric. Among them, cotton polyester flame retardant fabrics are also called CVC flame retardant fabrics, which are widely used in the European market.

In CVC flame-retardant fabrics, the higher the ratio of cotton to polyester, the better the quality of flame-retardant fabrics. Because cotton fibers have the advantage of being difficult to pilling and polyester has good stability, CVC flame-retardant fabrics have luster and bright touch. Sleek, stiff, no deformation, no pleating, no shrinkage, good elasticity and wear resistance in dry and wet conditions, stable size, small shrinkage and other characteristics.

CVC flame retardant fabrics are mostly made of more than 50% cotton fiber and 50% polyester fiber. Commonly used distribution ratios are: 60% cotton / 40% polyester (CVC60 / 40 flame retardant cloth), 60% cotton / 39% polyester / 1% electrostatic wire (CVC flame retardant anti-static fabric), 80% cotton / 20 % polyester (CVC80/20 flame retardant cloth), 80% cotton / 19% polyester / 1% electrostatic wire (CVC80/20 flame retardant antistatic cloth) and so on.

Due to these characteristics of CVC flame retardant fabrics, it is widely used in flame retardant garments for machines, electric welding, mining, and chemical industries.
